College members recognised in King's Birthday Honours

College members were among those named in the King's birthday honours.

College members were among those named in the first set of birthday honours of King Charles III which are awarded to recognise the outstanding achievements of people across the United Kingdom. College Members were recognised for services to the NHS, health and science.

Members of the Order of the British Empire

  • Nizamuddin Damani - Consultant Microbiologist, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. For services to Infection Prevention and Control in Northern Ireland and to the World Health Organisation.
  • Andrew Haynes - Lately Specialist Adviser to the Board, Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust and Non-Executive Director, University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust. For services to Health and to the NHS in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire
  • Professor Pasi - Lately Centre Director, Royal London Haemophilia Centre, Barts Health NHS Trust. For services to the NHS
  • Farrukh Shah - Consultant Haematologist, Whittington Health NHS Trust. For services to Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Patients
