Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an instrumental tool in ensuring good medical practice. It is grounded in the recognition that professional learning and development is an ongoing process that extends beyond initial training or education.
In line with the College’s strategic aim to promote and advance excellence in pathology, we are dedicated to developing and delivering exemplary CPD services to our members.
We are pleased to offer you the CPD portfolio service at the College. This service allows you to record and track your CPD activities, and to download an annual CPD statement, which can be a valuable resource during appraisals.
Key points about our CPD process:
- CPD Year: The College’s CPD year runs from 1 April to 31 March of the following year.
- Recording Activities: We encourage members to record CPD activities promptly as they undertake them.
- CPD Returns: Please complete your CPD return for the relevant CPD year within 6 months following the CPD year end, by 30 September.
